For the third year running i took part in my mate Alans cape epic training camp.This year 11 people showed up from all over SA for 4 days hard graft especially so as the weather ws f*@ck*ng hot on one occasion we spent 11 hour 40 min in the saddle reaching temps of 47 deg.B the end of the camp i was given a new nickname ..the Machine. the africans couldnt believe how well a englishman could ride in such temps (all in a days work ay) i explained when you can ride for 4hrs at -5 you can do any thing .As you can see by the photos it really is a beautiful place to spend a few weeks
